AMIN & AAZZAH's WEDDING RECEPTION
My family and I attended the wedding reception last night at the Rizqun International Hotel, Gadong. Guests from both sides crowded the room. We were entertained by an Indonesian group, who sang mostly dakwah songs. After the doa kesyukuran was read, it was time to eat. The food was okay, I guess, but I liked the sweet & sour fish, the most. Present at the wedding was Her Royal Highness Princess Azimah and His Royal Highness Prince Abdul Mateen.

Certificates Presentation at Sekolah Ugama PJN PHAB, Kuala Belait
Yesterday afternoon, students from the Sekolah Ugama Pg Jaya Negara Pg Haji Abu Bakar in Kuala Belait, gathered for a certificate presentation at the school's auditorium. Pictures showed students waiting in anticipation to receive their certificates.

CONGRATULATIONS to the Chairman of the Adinin Group of Companies for being one of the Outstanding Entrepreneur 2008. I couldn't get hold of the Chairman but manged to take a closer shot of his trophy and certificate.

I've just been from Mum's bakery in KB. The shop is nice from the inside and the music is very nice to the ears. But, wait! The staff, they are not as nice as the shop or the music. They do not greet the customers good morning and thank you. All they give you are their sour faces. They are not wearing anything to cover their hair; a hair net will do I suppose.
Once, when I was early and didn't have time to have breakfast at home, I went over to Mum's bakery, KB, to grab something to eat. When I was about to pay, the cashier didn't bother to smile or greet 'good morning',, and had that sort of sour face. So I asked her, "What's wrong with you?" She replied, "Nothing." Then I asked again, "Why is your face so sour early in the morning?" She said, "No lah." I said, "You should greet your customers and thank them. You're in the service industry." She didn't want to look at me but continue putting my purchase in the plastic.
The owner of Mum's bakery, KB. Go and take a look at your staff. I think you should send them for a course on etiquette.

VISIT BY PARTICIPANTS FROM BUSINESS INCUBATOR PROGRAM
This morning, about 20 participants from the Sinaut Business Incubator Program, made a visit to Kuala Belait Light Industrial Area. They visited a garment factory, signage making workshop and noodle making shop. Pictures showed their visit to HANZ Signcrafts And Advertising.

Suri Seri Begawan Hospital, Kuala Belait - We would appreciate if the dispensary section can expedite despatching medicines to the patients. There are 2 counters at the moment; one for yellow stub and one for green stub. This afternoon, we waited for 10 mins and the number for the green stub has moved only once. Whereas the yellow stub was faster as the number of patients called was higher. There are so many patients and some left without the medicines because they couldn't wait that long. Relevant authorities, please look into this matter seriously.

The Belait District Youth & Sports Department will be holding a 4 day "HARI PELANGGAN BELIA DAN SUKAN PERINGKAT KEBANGSAAN" in conjunction with Hari Belia Kebangsaaan, Hari Belia ASEAN and Hari Belia Antarabangsa from 25 August to 28 August 2008 at the Mumong Sports Complex, Kuala Belait, from 7.30am to 6pm. There are prizes to be won during the four day activity. Everyone is welcome.
